I have 4 x .mp4 files that I need to join together (preferably without re-encoding, but I will if I have to) and I have tried several MP4 joiner programs without success. I thought this would have been pretty simple to do - but apparently 'nothing' is simple! The problem is - although there are no artifacts in the source material and I have edited and cut to ensure seemless joins, each MP4 merger somehow duplicates a frame or two at each point of joining and as such - not only do I get a huge amount of picture distortion and the resulting audio is completely out of sync for the remainder/duration of the video?Appreciate any help or insight.Thanks. -- from VideoHelp

I have tried the popular method of merging the files with QuickTime, but it’s not working. Is there a free way to do this?

5. QuickTime X doesn't have the full functionality of QuickTime Pro. You would (most likely) have to install QuickTime 7 from your Mac OS X DVD or from the Apple Homepage and get a license for QuickTime Pro.
