Entourage For Mac

Microsoft Entourage is a popular email client among small businesses that run a Microsoft Exchange server and have primarily Apple desktops and laptops. If you are experiencing major issues with Entourage, such as the program not responding or not displaying accurate information, resetting the application's identity database is the best course of action. Since resetting Entourage will remove all of your existing data, back up your email profile before proceeding.
2.
Hold down the 'Option' key on your keyboard and then click on the Entourage icon in your Dock.
3.Select your primary Entourage identity in the Database Utility window and click on the 'Rebuild database' button.
4.Click 'Continue' to confirm your decision to reset the Entourage identity database. Depending on the size of your Outlook data files, the resetting process can take up to an hour to complete.
5.
Chill global for mac pro. Click the 'Done' button when the rebuilding process has finished.
6.Close the Database Utility tool and then launch Entourage to see if the problem is resolved.
Things Needed
- Mac running OS X 10.5 or later
- Microsoft Entourage 2004 or later
Tip
- If the identity reset process does not run properly, free up additional space on your computer's hard drive and then try to reset the identity again. You should have three times as much hard drive space as the size of your identity file.
